A new level for Multimedia Search April 23, 2009 -- A new level for Multimedia Search. Munax has today set goals to create a new level for Multimedia Search on the Web. "Without going to deep into details, one of the goals is to grow the multimedia index at a minimum rate of 40% each quarter.", says Jan-Olof Granlund, CEO at Munax. "Another goal is of course to, even better, meet the demands from our Web Search customers. Already now, our audio index is the largest on the web and our video index is probably the most accessible on web because of the high update frequency. It would be nice to do the same for the image index. However, one of the most important goals is how we will relate and rank multimedia in the future".
